The Official Guide to the MCAT Exam

 Subjects/sections the MCAT includes:

  • Psychological, Social, and Biological Foundations of Behavior(New)
  • Biological and Biochemical Foundations of Living Systems
  • Chemical and Physical Foundations of Biological Systems
  • Critical Analysis and Reasoning Skills

The  MCAT contains biochemistry and has an emphasis on statistics/research methods. In this guide, you can find out about the exam content, have access to 120 practice questions, tips on how to prepare for the exam, and what to expect on test day. There is also an online format for the practice questions which offers the opportunity to simulate the exam and answer the same questions in an online format up to five times. *Note-The MCAT is offered 22 times during the year, but as seats are limited at the Carbondale Prometric Testing Center, students are encourage to register early. Timing is important!
